After sending Nick Snapp an email and getting an autoresponder, we decided to critique it. Here’s how we think he – and you – can improve email communications.
On our way home from a business meeting, we talk about how we closed the deal. On the flip side, we talk about how we cancelled the balance of another project just to be done with it.
What if we get hit by a bus? Will our business collapse, or can it go on without us? Are our families protected? Are our clients protected? Death isn’t a fun topic, but it’s a reality and one that business owners need to address.
We answer a listener’s challenge to our grammar, and talk about why an electric toothbrush will help you succeed in business. We also talk about the recent Google docs email phishing scam, using a password manager, and two-factor authentication.
Sometimes you have to make hard business decisions. And sometimes they’re emotional. But we’re all just people doing business so sometimes you can’t separate the personal from the business. If you’re joining us from the Web.Search.Social Podcast, we’re so happy you’re back after our extended hiatus. If you’re a new listener, we’re equally happy that you’re here and look forward to meeting you. Web.Search.Social ran for 180 episodes and here we are continuing with episode 181, but rebranded as Carbon Based Business Units. Why? Well, because we wanted to talk more about business and entrepreneurship, less about web, search and social marketing. That doesn’t mean we won’t talk marketing, but we wanted to broaden our conversations to include all of work and life.
We’re just about to launch Podcaster’s Toolbox, which means we’re pretty stinkin’ busy, and sometimes that means other stuff has to take a back seat.
But we’re just about ready to start our new podcast and can’t wait to start talking about life, business and being an entrepreneur as a WHOLE PERSON. Get the scoop and join us!
